Upcoming Ugandan artist Aaronx has issued a public apology to legendary singer Bebe Cool after facing massive backlash for disrespectful comments he made during a recent interview.
In the now-viral clip, Aaronx appeared overly excited and crossed the line by downplaying Bebe Cool’s influence, claiming that the veteran’s album “Break The Chainz” never went beyond Nansana.
He further advised Bebe Cool to stop singing and instead invest in younger artists.
The comments sparked outrage online, with many music lovers and media personalities criticizing Aaronx for his lack of respect toward a pioneer in the industry.

Overwhelmed by the backlash, Aaronx released a heartfelt video, apologizing to Bebe Cool and the public. He blamed his words on “camera excitement” and admitted that he got carried away during the interview.
“I deeply regret what I said. It was never my intention to disrespect someone who has paved the way for many of us. I apologize to Bebe Cool and all his fans,” Aaronx said in the video.
