Police has confirmed the death of AIGP Charles Kataratambi, who was serving as the head of the Human Rights and Legal Services Directorate.
According to police spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma, the senior officer had been battling health complications since his appointment to the position.
Kataratambi, a long-serving officer, was respected for his professionalism and dedication to duty.
His passing has left a gap in the Uganda Police Force, with colleagues and citizens alike sending condolences to his family and the entire force.
