American-Senegalese singer and entrepreneur Akon is facing a major personal and financial storm after his wife, Tomeka Thiam, reportedly filed for divorce, ending their 29-year marriage.
According to reports, Tomeka has demanded €100 million as compensation following years of partnership and support in Akon’s career and business ventures.
However, in a surprising twist, the court discovered that the multi-platinum artist only had $10,000 in his personal account with most of his assets allegedly held under his mother’s name.
