All preparations are complete for the Kabaka Birthday Run, which is set to take place this Sunday as His Majesty, the Kabaka of Buganda, celebrates his 70th birthday.
The official routes for the annual run were unveiled yesterday by Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga, and thousands of participants are expected to take part in the highly anticipated event.
The run, which has become a major fixture on Uganda’s sporting and cultural calendar, will be flagged off on Sunday morning, marking yet another historic celebration in the Buganda Kingdom.
