Controversial and attention-seeking journalist Basajjamivule Bwadene is back in the headlines after launching another attack on opposition leader and NUP president Bobi Wine.
The criticism followed Bobi Wine’s appearance on NBS Television’s Barometer programme on Tuesday night.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Basajjamivule ridiculed the singer-turned-politician’s leadership capabilities, stating:
“I spent two hours watching Bobi Wine on TV and I concluded that the man should be allowed to concentrate on his profession of dancing. In his head, there’s no single program for our nation except one word: Museveni, Museveni, Museveni. He can’t even be a head teacher.”
Basajjamivule, who was once a strong government critic, has been known to flip sides after allegedly receiving promises of a better life. He has since become a staunch supporter of the ruling regime, often defending controversial policies and attacking opposition figures.
The latest remarks have sparked heated debate online, with many netizens questioning Basajjamivule’s loyalty and motives.
