
Ugandan rapper Big Trill has shared his honest opinion about Bebe Cool’s latest album, Break the Chains praising the project but pointing out a big mistake.
While speaking on a local TV station, Big Trill said the album had great production and effort, but Bebe Cool lost the plot by trying to imitate Nigerian sound and pronunciation.
“He used words like ‘too muchooo’ and tried to sound Nigerian,” Trill said. “But in my experience, Nigerians don’t even allow outsiders to use their sound and succeed. And Ugandans won’t consume it either so it ends up stuck with no audience

Big Trill, known for his hit Parte After Parte, advised Bebe Cool to stay true to his Ugandan roots, saying that authenticity is what sells in today’s music industry.
“You have to be original. If you’re Ugandan, represent that. That’s how you stand out,” he added.
While fans are still divided over Break the Chains, Big Trill’s comments have sparked a hot conversation about identity vs. influence in East African music.
