National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine has confirmed the death of Marinos Alexandros, a party supporter who was allegedly abducted, tortured, and raped in the chambers of the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) before being unlawfully detained and later released.
In a statement issued a few hours ago, Bobi Wine revealed that Marinos was first picked up by security operatives on March 30, 2022, in Mbuya, and subjected to what he described as “incredible torture and sexual violence” at the CMI headquarters.
According to Bobi Wine, Marinos’ only crime was playing his music in the area where she was staying.
