Earlier today, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, widely known as Bobi Wine, made a significant visit to Kigo Prison, where he checked on the welfare of inmates, particularly those believed to be political prisoners.
Bobi Wine was joined by fellow artist and close ally King Saha, in what many are calling a powerful show of solidarity with those facing the wrath of the state.
“These are our brothers and sisters who are imprisoned not because they’re criminals, but because they dared to speak out,” Bobi Wine said during the visit.
Music Meets Activism
The presence of King Saha added a symbolic layer to the visit, reminding fans that the music industry continues to stand with the people, not just in entertainment but also in times of struggle.
“This is not just politics it’s humanity” King Saha told reporters outside the prison gates.
The visit is already causing waves across social media, with supporters praising the duo for their courage and compassion, while critics continue to question the political intentions behind the act.
