Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, was officially sworn in yesterday to begin a new five year term as the President of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
Bobi Wine’s re-election was unopposed, and he secured the position with overwhelming support from party members.
The swearing-in ceremony marked the start of another chapter for the opposition leader, as he promised to continue strengthening NUP and advocating for the rights and freedoms of Ugandans.
His leadership is expected to focus on uniting the party and preparing for the next general elections.
