Popular radio personality Brian Mulondo has officially bid farewell to 93.3 KFM after nine years of service, marking the end of an era for one of Uganda’s most listened-to radio stations.
Mulondo joined KFM in April 2017 and quickly became a household name as a co-host on D’Mighty Breakfast. Over the years, he worked alongside well-known media personalities such as Malaika Nnyanzi, Maritza, and Faiza Fabz. His sharp humor, bold opinions, and energetic presence made him a favorite among morning listeners.
Renowned broadcaster Joseph Beyanga (Joe Louw) praised Mulondo’s dedication and professionalism, recalling moments that defined his strong work ethic. Beyanga cited an incident where Mulondo still made it on air at 6:00 a.m. despite suffering a car breakdown at 1:00 a.m., describing him as one of KFM’s most consequential signings in the last two decades and a selfless team player.

News of his departure sparked emotional reactions from listeners, many of whom described him as a warm and dependable voice during their daily commute. Fellow media personalities, including Kasuku and Okidi Gabi Ron, also paid tribute, thanking Mulondo for the impact and legacy he leaves behind at the station.
Mulondo later confirmed via WhatsApp that it was indeed his last day at KFM. While rumors are circulating about a possible podcast or new media venture, no official details about his next move have been confirmed yet.
As fans await his next chapter, Brian Mulondo leaves KFM with a lasting legacy built on consistency, passion, and a deep connection with his audience.
