Self-proclaimed Ghetto President and singer Buchaman has expressed deep frustration with his position in President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s government.
While speaking in an interview, Buchaman revealed that after requesting a salary increment, President Museveni told him that he was “working for God” a response that left him disheartened.

The longtime NRM mobilizer noted that he has dedicated years to supporting the ruling party and advocating for ghetto youths but feels unappreciated and financially strained

“I expected that my contribution would be valued, but sometimes I feel like I’ve been forgotten,” he lamented.
Buchaman’s comments have since sparked debate online, with some sympathizing with his situation, while others argue that his frustrations reflect a larger issue among entertainers-turned-politicians.
