Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo Builds Church in Honor of His Late Mother
Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo has constructed a new church, St. Matthew’s Chapel, in Lukwangole Parish, Patongo sub-county, Agago district, in honor of his late parents.
The church was commissioned by the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese, Raphael p’Mony Wokorach.

Construction began in 2024, and it stands as a tribute to Dollo’s father, the late Mzee Kasimiro Ongom, who passed away in 1996, and his mother, the late Mego Paulina Angom, who passed away in 2012.
St. Matthew’s Chapel is a symbol of faith and gratitude, reflecting the Chief Justice’s deep respect and love for his parents.
