Dancehall Queen Cindy Sanyu has officially announced her plans to retire from live performances, signaling the end of an era for one of Uganda’s most energetic and iconic female performers.
Despite stepping back from the stage, Cindy emphasized that she is not quitting music entirely.

Instead, she plans to dedicate her time to mentoring young and upcoming artists, helping them navigate the challenges of the industry while nurturing their talent and creativity.
In addition, Cindy revealed plans to launch her own music label, which will serve as a platform for emerging musicians to grow, learn, and showcase their work.

Her decision marks a powerful transition from performer to mentor a move that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on Uganda’s entertainment industry as she continues to inspire and empower the next generation of stars.
