City and radio entertainer DJ Nimrod has come out strongly against singer Uncle Chumi, urging all deejays across Uganda not to play for her whenever she steps on stage.
The call for action comes after Uncle Chumi allegedly disrespected several DJs, an act Nimrod says cannot be tolerated.
In a statement, DJ Nimrod expressed deep disappointment with the singer’s attitude and called for solidarity among DJs to protect their profession.
He added that Uncle Chumi should carry her own sound equipment and setups to every show she is booked
to perform at, until she understands the vital role DJs play in her music career.
The bold stance has sparked conversations in the entertainment industry, with many awaiting how both parties and fellow entertainers will respond to the situation.
