Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo has threatened legal action against events promoter Nobat Events over serious and damaging allegations that have recently gone viral on social media.
Nobat made headlines after accusing the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president of being involved in both an alleged murder plot and the death of the late producer Danz Kumapeesa.

The claims immediately sparked outrage, with many calling for evidence to support such grave accusations.
In response, Kenzo, who also serves as a Presidential Advisor on Art and Creatives, dismissed the allegations as false, baseless, and defamatory. He revealed that his legal team is already preparing to take the matter to court.

He needs to provide court with evidence. It’s good he spoke on record; he talked about people’s lives. This matter has to go further, and he will answer in court, Kenzo stated during a press briefing.
The controversy has drawn widespread attention within Uganda’s entertainment industry, with fans and fellow musicians urging calm and calling for due process to take its course.
