Award-winning Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo has revealed why he has chosen to keep his son with wife and Minister of State, Phiona Nyamutoro, away from the public spotlight.
Kenzo, who confirmed his relationship with Nyamutoro last year, disclosed that the decision to keep their child’s identity including his name and appearance private is intentional.

He cited the harsh scrutiny and pressures that come with media attention as the main reason for the move.
“I want to protect my son from unnecessary public exposure.
This is a personal decision I made to ensure he grows up in peace, away from the media,” Kenzo stated.
He added that not everything in his life is meant for public consumption and urged fans and media to respect his family’s privacy.
Despite his fame, Kenzo emphasized the importance of creating a safe, normal environment for his child to grow up in.
