The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has officially announced James Nathan Nandala Mafabi as the party’s presidential flag bearer for the upcoming 2026 general elections.
The unveiling, made earlier today, signals the party’s readiness to hit the campaign trail as it seeks to challenge the ruling government and offer Ugandans what it calls “a fresh alternative for leadership”
Mafabi, a long-serving politician and respected figure in opposition politics, pledged to focus on governance reforms, economic growth, and fighting corruption if elected.
