FUFA President, Hon. Moses Hassim Magogo, has dismissed claims circulating among fans that the Uganda Cranes players are staying in poor facilities during the ongoing competition.
Speaking out after the team’s recent victories, Magogo stated that officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) personally inspected and approved the hotel where the players are accommodated.
“The fans have no authority in deciding where players stay. CAF approved the facility, and that’s the standard we are following,” Magogo explained.
To further defend his stance, the FUFA boss shared photos of the hotel’s interior, highlighting its suitability and comfort.
The clarification comes after social media debates where some fans accused FUFA of neglecting players’ welfare despite their strong performances on the pitch.
