US-based Ugandan artiste turned medical doctor Amos Kigenyi, popularly known as Gen. Mega Dee, has officially announced that he will be retiring from the music scene at the end of 2025.
The singer, who rose to fame in the early 2000s alongside Menton Kronno, explained that he is stepping away from recording and performing to fully focus on his medical profession in the United States.
“My time in music has come to an end. I’m grateful for the fans, the journey, and the memories. But now, my calling is in medicine,” said Mega Dee.
