Legendary Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has expressed deep disappointment with the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) and its leadership, particularly Eddy Kenzo.
Speaking to the media, Chameleone criticized the federation for what he described as disrespectful behavior towards him.

He pointed out that as a founding member of UNMF, it was disheartening to receive no support or recognition from fellow artists when he returned to the country over the weekend.
“I expected at least a representative from the federation to welcome me at the airport,” Chameleone said, adding that the lack of gesture reflected poorly on the unity and solidarity among Ugandan musicians.

The singer emphasized the need for the federation to uphold values of respect, togetherness, and appreciation, especially towards those who laid the foundation for the current generation of artists.
