Ugandan music star Jose Chameleone has finally accepted to divorce his wife of 17 years, Daniella Atim, but insists he won’t easily surrender his Seguku mansion as part of the settlement.
Daniella recently filed for divorce, accusing the self-proclaimed music doctor of neglect and desertion. She is also seeking custody of their five children and a share of the couple’s matrimonial home.
Chameleone, however, has denied the claims of neglect, maintaining that he has always provided for his family.
While he seems willing to end the marriage, he is firm about holding onto the Seguku residence, which has become a major point of contention in the separation.
This development has sparked heated debate online, with fans taking sides between Daniella and Chameleone. Some argue Daniella deserves her share after nearly two decades of marriage, while others defend Chameleone’s stand, saying his hard work built the mansion.
The divorce proceedings are ongoing and expected to draw even more public attention in the coming weeks.
