Ugandan singer Lady Mariam, popularly known for her hit song Tindatine, has announced that she is finally ready to settle down and get married.
Speaking in an interview with a local TV station, Lady Mariam revealed that she is tired of living a single life and shouldering bills on her own, saying it has brought her nothing but stress.
However, she was quick to clarify that she is not interested in marrying a “broke man,” stressing that she has already experienced that life and gained nothing from it.

Instead, the singer says she is looking for a wealthy man, preferably one who lives outside Uganda, to build a new life with.
Her revelation has stirred mixed reactions among fans, with some applauding her honesty while others criticized her for prioritizing wealth over love.
