Veteran musician Ragga Dee has opened up about the final days of fallen artist Daudi Mugema, revealing that the late singer had been receiving financial and medical support from General Salim Saleh before his sudden death.
Mugema was found dead last week in a lodge in Gulu under unclear circumstances.
According to Ragga Dee, Mugema had traveled to Gulu to follow up on medical support and financial assistance from the top State House official.
“Gen. Saleh had promised to give him more money for a medical review,” Ragga Dee said. “He had even given him startup capital for a nails business, and it was beginning to grow.”
A Life Cut Short Too Soon
Mugema had reportedly begun attracting customers to his new business when tragedy struck.
His death has left many in shock, especially those who knew his ongoing struggles and efforts to rebuild his life.
“It’s just unfortunate he died at such a critical point,” Ragga Dee added.
As investigations into the cause of death continue, many in the music industry are mourning a brother who died just when things were starting to look up.
