Ugandan songstress Lydia Jazmine has raised concern over the challenges that young female artists face in the music industry, particularly the threat of sexual molestation.
During a recent TikTok Live session, Jazmine opened up about her own experience, revealing that she narrowly avoided becoming a victim when she was starting her music career.
“I was lucky to get the right people around me and be exposed quickly.

But not everyone is that lucky,” Jazmine shared, emphasizing that early guidance and trustworthy mentorship played a crucial role in protecting her.
She advised upcoming female artists to be vigilant, make wise choices, and remain focused on their careers to avoid falling into dangerous situations.
