Eng. Moses Magogo has officially been re-elected as the FUFA President for a fourth consecutive term, extending his leadership at the helm of Uganda’s football governing body.
Magogo’s re election has sparked mixed reactions with supporters praising his strategic development of local football, while critics question transparency and accountability under his administration.
“I thank all stakeholders who believe in my vision. We’re not done yet” Magogo said following the announcement.
Cheers vs Concerns
Over the years, Magogo has overseen the growth of Uganda Cranes, investments in women’s football, and a push for grassroots development.
However, his journey has not been without controversy including past FIFA disciplinary actions and public backlash over football funds.
As he embarks on another term, many are watching to see whether he’ll bring true transformation or continue what some describe as “business as usual“
