Streaming giant Netflix has reportedly lost nearly $15 billion in market value following a global boycott campaign led by billionaire Elon Musk.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO urged people around the world to cancel their Netflix subscriptions, criticizing the platform for including what he described as “unnecessary and inappropriate scenes” that are not suitable for children.

Following Musk’s remarks, thousands of users took to social media pledging to stop using Netflix, resulting in a massive wave of cancellations that hit the company’s stock value hard.
As of now, Netflix has not released an official statement addressing Musk’s claims or the financial impact, but analysts suggest the platform could face ongoing losses if the boycott continues to gain traction globally.
