Next Media has officially parted ways with three of its prominent figures—Victoria Bagaaya, Mpagi Robert Sekidde alias Tuff B, and Charles Mwanguhya, the former host of The Frontline and NBS Face-Off.
Tuff B’s exit comes as he sets his sights on a political career. After engaging with National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), the popular TV presenter has openly voiced his support for the oppressed and announced his political ambitions.
He is expected to contest against Derrick Nyeko, whose performance in parliament has been rated at just 40%.
Meanwhile, Charles Mwanguhya, a seasoned journalist, has decided to give politics another shot and plans to run again for the Burahya Constituency seat, despite losing in the last election.
Victoria Bagaaya’s next move is yet to be confirmed, but her departure marks the end of another notable chapter in the media house.
