Singer-turned-politician Nubian Li has officially joined the race for the Nakawa Division Mayoral Seat after picking nomination forms from the National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters.
Nubian, a longtime ally of NUP President Bobi Wine, is stepping up his political ambitions with strong backing from party supporters and the general public.
According to an independent opinion poll, he is projected to win with an impressive 80% of the vote a sign of growing confidence in his leadership potential.
Supporters have praised Nubian Li for his humility, activism, and consistency in championing the rights of the common Ugandan.
If elected, he vows to focus on infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and accountability within Nakawa Division.
