The Kawempe Chief Magistrates Court has remanded National Unity Platform (NUP) Deputy Spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro and Sauda Madaada to Luzira Prison until September 29, 2025.
The two are facing charges of unlawful drilling, conspiracy to commit a felony, and other related offences.
Both Waiswa and Madaada appeared before the court earlier today, where the prosecution argued that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
The Chief Magistrate ordered their remand until the next court sitting.
