Paula, a woman from South Carolina, has come forward with her story about her relationship with Ugandan singer Ssemanda Timothy, popularly known as Royal Jeff.
According to Paula, the two met in February 2023 and quickly grew close, eventually becoming lovers.
During their time together, Royal Jeff allegedly told her he was running an orphanage in Mityana, Uganda, with about 20 children under his care.
Believing his story, Paula offered her support and donations.
However, she later discovered that the property actually belonged to his mother, and many of the children shown in photos were not permanent residents.
Paula revealed that she even traveled to Uganda, where Royal Jeff personally picked her up from Entebbe Airport.
They visited some orphanages, but she claims that things were not as presented.
She alleges that the children at his mother’s house were only staying there temporarily.
Beyond the orphanage claims, Paula also supported his music career but now believes Royal Jeff misrepresented himself in several ways.
She hopes that by sharing her experience, others especially women will be more cautious and take time to verify people’s claims before fully trusting, even when emotions and love are involved.
