President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has openly praised singer Eddy Kenzo while throwing subtle shade at fellow artist Bebe Cool.
During a recent address, Museveni revealed that he initially tried to work with Bebe Cool, who had plans of setting up a recording centre. However, the project never materialized.

“I was trying to work with Bebe Cool at first. He was trying to set up a recording centre somewhere. I do not know what happened,” Museveni said.

On the other hand, he gave Eddy Kenzo a thumbs up for his resilience and contribution to the Ugandan music industry, noting that Kenzo’s work ethic and consistency have played a key role in uplifting the country’s image globally.
Museveni’s remarks have already stirred mixed reactions, with fans debating whether this signals a shift in his relationship with some of Uganda’s biggest musicians.
