In a remarkable effort to uplift the poor and provide safe housing, the Government of Rwanda has constructed 793 houses for homeless citizens and those living in high-risk areas.
Among these, 310 houses have been handed over to 172 families, who received them free of charge, complete with ownership documents.

This initiative demonstrates Rwanda’s commitment to improving the living standards of its citizens, especially those facing the threat of displacement or living in unsafe conditions.
This housing program is part of the Rwandan government’s broader strategy to ensure that vulnerable communities are not left behind, reflecting the country’s dedication to social welfare and inclusive development.
