Attorneys representing embattled music mogul Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs have made yet another push for his release from what they’ve described as “a horrific prison” setting, following his arrest on serious federal charges.
In court, Combs’ legal team proposed strict bail conditions aimed at easing public and judicial concerns. Among the proposed measures are:
-
A ban on all non-family women entering his residence (except for mothers of his children)
-
Weekly drug testing
-
No contact with potential witnesses
-
Home detention with GPS monitoring
-
A visitors log to be maintained and reviewed
The judge, however, ordered certain requests to be terminated or revised, maintaining a cautious stance due to the gravity of the allegations, which include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
In a strong statement filed with the court, Combs’ attorneys said:
“Sean Combs has never evaded, avoided, eluded or run from a challenge in his life. He will not start now. As he has handled every hardship, he will meet this case head-on, he will work hard to defend himself, and he will prevail.”
Combs continues to deny all allegations, and the case remains under intense public and media scrutiny.
