Singer and TV host-turned-politician Tuff B has openly criticized National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka Bobi Wine, for denying him the party ticket in Makindye East, despite claiming he is the people’s favorite in the area.
In his words, Tuff B accused Bobi Wine of betraying the values of integrity, discipline, and reliability that the party should uphold.
“One of the reasons I am loved so much in Makindye is because I solve the problems people go through. When I traveled to the UK, I learned how to solve the unemployment problem by making job centers, something I want to implement in Kabalagala and Kansanga. But they chose someone totally not in my match,” he said in disappointment.
Tuff B, who recently switched his focus from entertainment to politics, insists that his vision for job creation and youth empowerment is unmatched.
He has, however, not revealed whether he will contest as an independent after missing out on the NUP endorsement.
