The Uganda Cranes camp was briefly disrupted after players skipped a training session due to concerns over unpaid allowances and proposed bonuses.
According to reports, the national team did not train yesterday after internal discussions started among players at their hotel. The issue was later raised in a meeting with FUFA President Moses Magogo.
Players reportedly questioned a proposed €6,000 qualification bonus after the first stage. Several senior players expressed dissatisfaction, noting that they have gone over a year without receiving bonuses, despite multiple promises.

Sources say the senior players mobilized others, and about seven players informed head coach Paul Put that they would not participate in training. The coach acknowledged the concerns and called off the session.
The players emphasized that they were not demanding favors, but rather respect and payment of their rightful dues.
Following overnight talks, the Uganda Cranes players have now confirmed they will resume training today. Discussions with FUFA leadership were concluded, and a resolution is reportedly underway.
The development brings calm back to the camp as the team focuses on its upcoming assignments.
