Vipers SC has announced that they will not take part in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) double-header against Kitara FC scheduled for Saturday.
The club says this is a demonstration to push FUFA, the league’s governing body, to address their concerns regarding the new league format and reforms.

According to Vipers, the reforms are unfair and negatively affect both the competitive balance and the interests of clubs.
The team’s management insists that FUFA must open dialogue with stakeholders before implementing such changes.
The boycott is expected to spark debate within the Ugandan football community, with fans now waiting to see FUFA’s response to the growing tension.
