Musician Winnie Wa Mummy’s performance at the Enkuuka show was abruptly cut short after event organisers asked her to leave the stage due to concerns over her outfit.
Winnie Wa Mummy had joined singer Mudra on stage to perform their collaborative song. However, moments after the music started, the sound system was suddenly switched off, leaving Mudra to continue entertaining the audience without backing sound.
As the performers waited for the issue to be resolved, organisers reportedly walked onto the stage carrying a long black jacket. Winnie Wa Mummy was instructed to wear it, allegedly because her skimpy outfit was deemed inappropriate, especially in the presence of the Kabaka.

Shortly after putting on the jacket, Winnie Wa Mummy was asked to step off the stage, effectively ending her performance at the cultural event.
The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some supporting the organisers’ decision to uphold cultural norms at Enkuuka, while others questioned the manner in which the situation was handled on stage.
