Former NBS TV news anchor Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa has revealed his strong confidence in securing the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag for Nansana Municipality ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Zambaali, who once won hearts as a respected face on prime-time news, is now turning his focus to politics with a mission to fight against what he calls President Museveni’s overstay in power.
“I believe I will represent the people of Nansana under NUP,” Zambaali reportedly told close sources. “It’s time for change.”
50/50 Chance Backed by Party Bigwigs
According to intelligence reports, Zambaali seems to be aligning himself with oppressed Ugandans who have long sought change.
Insiders also reveal he has the support of top NUP officials, giving him a 50/50 chance of becoming the party’s official flag bearer.
If he wins the party ticket, Zambaali could become a strong new voice in Parliament, using his platform to challenge the status quo and represent the people of Wakiso District.
