According to reports, Uganda’s music legend Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, is unhappy with fellow artists Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool after allegedly receiving only Sh5 million from his performance at the NRM manifesto launch held at Speke Resort Munyonyo last week.
Sources close to the “Shida Za Dunia” hitmaker reveal that Chameleone had expected a much bigger payout around Sh50 million given the scale of the event and the political audience in attendance.
He reportedly went the extra mile to deliver an energetic performance and even entertained President Yoweri Museveni himself.

However, when he discovered that he had been paid far less than expected, Chameleone was left disappointed and furious.
The singer is said to have vowed to “follow up the matter” to find out whether someone along the payment chain tampered with his money.
The situation has stirred tension among musicians who participated in the event, with fans now speculating about possible disagreements behind the scenes.
