Nearly four years after Uganda lifted Covid-19 restrictions, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has revealed that he still strictly follows the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) introduced during the pandemic.
Speaking recently, the President said that since the outbreak of the coronavirus, he has continued to avoid enclosed spaces as a personal precaution.

“Since Corona, my SOP is I don’t stay in enclosed places. I go in and get out, like in our guerilla tactics,” he remarked, explaining that he now conducts most of his official work outdoors.
Museveni’s continued adherence to Covid-19 safety measures highlights his cautious approach toward health and safety, even as life in Uganda and across the world has returned to normal.
