Former Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, has been airlifted to Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, for specialized medical treatment after falling ill.
Reports indicate that Kadaga became unwell shortly after returning to Uganda from official international trips to Morocco and New York. Due to the seriousness of her condition, doctors recommended urgent evacuation for advanced care.
She is currently receiving treatment at the Nairobi-based facility, with close monitoring by medical specialists. Family members and close associates are said to be with her as she undergoes further medical assessment.
